Lose 10 Pounds In 2 Weeks - No Hype

There are several diets that will help you lose 10 pounds in 2 weeks, but they are not always healthy. When you want to lose weight it is important to take some facts very seriously.
When you look at the meal plan, does it feel like you are going to starve if you follow it?
Starvation is a bad way to lose weight. Starving means that the body will use tissues for energy and unfortunately the body loves fat. This love has made us survive several challenges during evolution.
Instead, our body uses the muscle tissue for energy, that is, if we don’t work out. If we exercise during the diet our body understands that we need the muscle and it chose the fat for energy instead.
Also, while we talk about exercising; in the last few years there have been findings that if we want to lose fat, we should only exercise moderately. You shouldn’t go for a 10 mile run but rather walk for 30 minutes at a relatively fast pace. Your pulse should be at about 70 per cent of your max pulse rate. This is important. If you exercise harder, the fat isn’t good enough for fuel and the body start to use carbohydrates instead.
The diet you chose should consist of foods from all groups, don’t choose a diet that makes you abstain from carbohydrates as this is hard to adhere to. Also, our brain needs carbohydrates to function well and to keep us alert.
A low-carb diet on the other hand should be what you are looking for. You should eat carbs but only carbs that gives a slow increase of the blood sugar. These are the carbs that are known to have a low glycaemic index (GI).
The diet I choose is the calorie shifting diet as this allows you to eat foods from all groups according to a certain scheme. The carbs in this diet are all with a low GI (there are a few exceptions). The diet runs for 11 days and you eat four meals daily. Each meal should leave you just short of full. After 11 days on the diet you get 3 bonus days and during these days you get to eat whatever your heart(stomach) desires.
